A Defender of Young Girls

Abdel Malek had a heart that was wide open for others, and this from a very young age. He firmly believed that education was the key to lifting young girls from modest families out of poverty and giving them a promising future. For him, every young girl deserved access to the same opportunities, regardless of her condition. He saw in them the leaders of tomorrow, those who would transform the world through their strength, resilience and intelligence.

That is why, even at the age of 19, Abdel Malek was already involved in social and educational actions for young girls. His dream was to offer each girl the chance to flourish and realize her potential. Today, through the Foundation, we are continuing this dream, providing support and opportunities to those who need it most.

Animal Friend

But Abdel Malek was not only a human rights activist, he also had an unconditional love for animals. He was a loyal friend to the four-legged creatures, spending hours caring for abandoned or abused animals. Whether feeding stray cats or treating injured dogs, Abdel Malek had a unique ability to bond with animals, as if he understood their language.

He also dreamed of opening an animal shelter, a place where injured or abandoned animals could find a home and receive the care they needed. His compassion for animals was another facet of his big heart, always attentive to the most vulnerable, human or animal.

Active Member of the Abidjan Mountain Bike Club

In addition to his social commitments and love for animals, Abdel Malek had a passion for sports, especially cycling. He was an active member of the Abidjan Mountain Bike Club , where he regularly participated in bike rides through the city and surrounding areas. Cycling was much more than a sport for him; it was a way to connect with nature, feel the freedom of the outdoors, and strengthen ties with his community.

Within the club, Abdel Malek was appreciated for his enthusiasm, camaraderie and team spirit. Always ready to motivate others and take on new challenges, he embodied the spirit of perseverance and adventure that animated every bike ride.

Today, through the Al Malek Foundation, we continue to honor Abdel Malek's memory by perpetuating his love for others.
