Our History
Abdel Malek Touré was an extraordinary young man, known for his courage, kindness, and dedication to others.
Taken from us far too soon, at the age of 19, he left behind not only the memory of a remarkable individual but also a vision of life built on generosity, empathy, and helping others.
In the final years of his life, Abdel Malek had a clear mission: to be there for others and to offer his help where it was most needed. He was particularly moved by the challenges faced young girls from disadvantaged backgrounds.
He understood early on that educating and supporting young girls was key to building a more just and equitable society. For him, investing in the education of girls meant investing in the future of entire communities.
Abdel Malek had dreams, ambitions, and a sincere desire to create a world where every girl, regardless of social background, could have equal access to opportunities. He wanted to build an environment where children, especially young girls, could flourish and reach their full potential.
Sadly, he didn’t have the time to realize this vision, but his spirit continues to live on through this noble cause.
To carry forward his dream and ensure that his vision endures, we created the Fondation Al Malek. This foundation is more than a tribute to Abdel Malek’s memory; it is a continuation of his mission, a way to keep alive the values he embodied.
The foundation extends a helping hand to young girls who, as Abdel Malek would have wished, deserve support and guidance throughout their journey.
The Fondation Al Malek is committed to empowering young girls from modest families in Africa by providing them with access to quality education. We firmly believe that education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty, promoting equality, and enabling individuals to contribute to their communities.
Our commitment doesn’t stop at education. We support these young girls holistically, not only by giving them access to learning but also by providing them with the tools for personal growth.
We offer personalized educational support, mentoring, and skills-building programs, with the hope of seeing these girls become the leaders of tomorrow.
Through this foundation, we continue Abdel Malek’s legacy by working toward the change he envisioned. His love for others and his determination to dismantle barriers of inequality and social injustice inspire all of our actions.
Every child we support and every young girl we guide toward success is a living testament to Abdel Malek’s ideals.
The Fondation Al Malek also aims to create a strong network of solidarity, involving families, communities, and both local and international partners.
